Contest entries will be judged on originality, personality, suitability, clarity, passion and persuasion.  Contest is for an indeterminate time period, so get your entries in as quickly as possible. The Family Getaway Contest from The Family Digest Show is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 25 years of age and older, except employees of The Family Digest Show and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and their families. The winners will be selected periodically by Darryl Mobley and his staff, and notified via email and must respond with the required documents within five days. All decisions are final. Prize will be awarded, and no substitution will be made, except at The Family Digest Show’s discretion. The approximate retail value of the winner’s prize is $4,000. All federal, state, and local taxes are the responsibility of the prizewinner. Neither The Family Digest Show nor any employees or affiliated organizations are responsible for damaged, lost, late, or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of The Family Digest Show, can be used in any way by The Family Digest Show at the sole discretion of The Family Digest Show, will not be returned, and entrant acknowledges that no financial reward or other payment will be owed entrant by The Family Digest Show or any affiliated organization for use of the entry. By submitting an entry, entrant gives The Family Digest Show full rights to publish the entry information in any way and in any market at the sole discretion of The Family Digest Show. Failure of winners to return photo(s), consent/release form, and the affidavit of eligibility provided by The Family Digest Show within 5 days of receipt may result in the selection of an alternate winner. The Family Digest Show is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or postage due mail/entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by The Family Digest Show on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the sweepstakes. By participating in the Contest, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of The Family Digest Show, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Contest. The Family Digest Show reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any contest or sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Contest), and to select winner from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.
